Saundae Service (Saundae Rowe) and Kristina Webb — the women behind R&B Brunch Atlanta — sit down with the Black Privilege Podcast to talk about building a sold-out live music experience from the ground up, navigating a male-dominated industry as Black women, and why authentic community beats a 20K follower count every time. From humble beginnings at Atlanta's Hot Dog Factory to headlining City Winery and expanding to Philly, Nashville, Chicago, and NYC — this is the blueprint nobody handed them. They get into the Mount Rushmore of R&B, what "Black privilege" really means, handling haters, finding undiscovered artists, and what's coming next.

Willingboro Native Sunnie joins the pod for one of the most polarizing conversations we've had on the show. We get into her journey from singing "New York, New York" at age 3 to building one of the most authentic sounds in independent R&B, what it really means to perform vs. perform for approval, and her upcoming projects. Plus: the R&B Mount Rushmore debate that literally turned heads, the Kanye conversation, which RnB legend is boring and so much more in this loaded episode.

Grief isn’t only about death. In this episode of the Black Privilege Podcast, we unpack the kinds of grief people rarely name out loud—grieving the past version of yourself, grieving choices you didn’t make, grieving relationships with people who are still alive, and the reality of collective grief in the Black community—especially the secondary trauma of witnessing violence and injustice.

ABOUT
The Black Privilege podcast is comprised of a collective of black men, including our guests, to be able to talk about what it means to be black and people of color in our current diaspora.
White privilege has always meant a detriment to those who are of color. Through insightful discussion, we want to turn that negative into a positive. We wanna celebrate what it means to be black, because to us, it means STRENGTH and it means POWER.
We hope that you tune in!
